Many project managers are familiar with the name Lee R. Lambert: He was one of the founders of the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification of the Project Management Institute (PMI®).
Much less known are his deep roots in project business management. Over more than five decades, Lee did projects for paying customers and trained project managers in that role. He also knows the other side, when a project is turning from being done internally to using contractors as extended workbench and in a next step to outsourcing the project to complex project supply networks with lots of contractors of several tiers.
Interviewed by Martin Berneburg and Oliver F. Lehmann, we are looking forward to interesting stories that combine insights and entertainment.
